Adult Ewes
Adult Ewes may be purchased in the fall bred to one of our registered Jacob rams.
Sweetgrass Bree
- Sweetgrass Ryder x Jacobs Ladder Bonnie Bree
- Twin ewe, born 4/2/2007.
- 4-horns, well spaced.
- More primitive type daughter of a Hescock ewe, with a coarser and less uniform fleece type.
Sweetgrass Lyndsay
- Rockies Myrddin x Sweetgrass Mary Ella
- Twin ewe, born 4/3/2007.
- 4-horned, well-spaced, with outward curving horns.
- Fleece is fairly long and dense, somewhat crimpy, with a nice handle.
Sweetgrass Rowan
- Rockies Myrddin x Sweetgrass Ceilidh
- Twin ewe, born 4/3/2007.
- 2-horned with striped horns; light feet and legs.
- A beautiful young Jacob ewe with an excellent medium, crimpy fleece. Breeding and show potential.
Sweetgrass Brighid
- Rockies Myrddin x Sweetgrass Bridget
- Twin ewe, born 4/6/2007.
- 2-horned.
- Fleece is medium-fine with some crimp, although not strongly defined. The last daughter of one of our outstanding ewes, and the granddaughter of Fieldwood Tess.
Sweetgrass Elowen
- Unzicker Spaulding x Painted Rock Gretchen
- Single, born 3/26/2007.
- 2-horned (striped horns).
- A big single ewe with a very nice, uniform, medium crimpy fleece. Her name is from the Cornish word for "elm".
Sweetgrass Laila
- Maple Hill Michael x Sweetgrass Hermione
- Twin, born 4/8/2007
- 2-horned
- One of our first lambs sired by Michael... Laila is a pretty ewe with a friendly disposition. Medium, somewhat crimpy fleece with a nice handle. Ususally found with her twin, Mariam.
Sweetgrass Celeste
- Swallow Lane Abraham x Fieldwood Susanna
- 7-year old ewe, born 3/26/01
- Daughter of our great old ewe, Fieldwood Susanna
- Fleece as a young ewe was quite fine and long-stapled. We are keeping Celeste's full sister, but offering her for sale to make room to diversify our flock.
Painted Rock Gretchen

- 5-year old ewe, born 4/8/2003.
- From Cheryl Terrano's flock in West Virginia.
- Fine uniform fleece, with square, correct conformation. We are offering Gretchen for sale to allow us to reduce our flock size.
